Goodbye My Friend...

I just want to acknowledge the passing of my longtime friend, Hawkeye. He has been a big part of my life for 9 1/2 years. I was his bitch, I know. That's ok tho. He had a good long life with me. I figured out his age to be 13 or 14 years. I'm sure going to miss him, I do already. He will never be forgotten. He has a special place in my heart. My love to you, now and forever. Mama

Yesterday I bagged up like 10 bags of leaves (10 large bags), and good thing I did... Its super windy today... There are still a lot of leaves to get towards the bottom of the yard, but that will have to wait.. Today might just be a movie day. Hopefully I can score some greenage to take the pain away. my body has been sore (fingers and neck) since I quit smoking. I think with exercise and what not it will get better. Day 16 without a cigarette! :) GO me! ;) lol... Its truly been the toughest thing I've ever done.. Her and I have been fighting like cats and dogs. Its gotta get better. Today is Day 2 off of 7. Anywho, We're raking leaves today... Have already bagged like 10 bags of leaves from just the front yard... Its exausting. She went to get some more bags and then its game on again. Then its off to do the back yard (where most of the leaves are at). So I doubt we'll even get done today. But we'll try :) I mean really, If Obama can become president, then like, we can rake up leaves. One step at a time homey!

Latest on Andy

I thought I'd share with you the first picture we took of Andy in uniform. It was taken the day before graduation on Family Day. Graduation went well except for the fact that there were approximately 1,400 soldiers graduating and not all of them received their Class A dress uniforms in time so they had to wear their combat uniforms. Andy is fairly certain he can still order pictures taken in his Class A's.

He has now transferred to Fort Bliss in El Paso and should finish his next round of training in mid-December when he'll get two weeks off for completion of training and another two weeks for Christmas. He's seriously considering joining the Airborne Division but no details yet on when or where that will take place.

Her sister and brother in law are coming out for Thanksgiving... We are all pretty excited.. Every time they come we get pretty tore up. They are getting us a turkey deep fryer ... or something like that so we can deep fry our turkey. Im sure we wont be gaining tons of weight after that ;) lol :) other than that today is my first day off of 7. Work has been pretty insane lately. So its good to get some time away from there and relax for a bit. I am going to create some digital are this week... Its been awhile fo shizzy.

There are literally thousands of leaves in the front and back yard... I woke up early to rake them all, now its raining so hard I cant... Its gonna suck ass... Dad and Robb have come and gone, we had a real good time while they were out. Mom, I got you some crazy post cards from that Body Worlds Exibit. How freaking insane was that? It was totally crazy, they were real dead bodies. You could look close at their toe nails and stuff and they looked like mummy toes (some were Daddy's too) , they had this full capilary thing of a human arm, and I went to point at it and almost knocked it over. lol, then I looked down and the glass thing was attached by tape... pretty crazy.. I wish you could have brought cameras in there, it was seriously the craziest shit I've ever seen. I'll explain more in detail on the phone, it would be too much to type on here.

Great Memory!

I cant believe I found this picture of Show Biz Pizza Place. I haven't thought of these guys for a long, long time. Hope everyone enjoys seeing this again. Dusty, remember me yelling at you when you were little for looking up Mindys skirt? You were laying on the floor trying to get Jeff to join you! Lol How funny. It was the happiest place on earth at that time in our lives. Well, Aunt Carol goes in for her first surgery on Tuesday. They are going to start with her neck. They will enter through the front of her neck to do the surgery. Ouch! I will keep everyone updated. Katie works at Walmart now, and Arlin is coming up to his first full year working at the News Tribune! My client is remaining somewhat healthy (knock on wood!) So I have job security for now. The weather is slowly getting colder with all the leaves changing colors and falling off. I really love the red trees out here. Something Colorado doesn't have alot of. Stay well, everyone. So, I'm having a rough morning, I woke up late, got into the shower too soon, so the water was freezing, and took my breath away, then on the way to work, I was rear-ended!! Again!!! I couldn't believe it. I was at a full stop, waiting to make a left hand turn, and then out of no where.....WHAM!!!! So, I make my turn, pull into a parking lot and start to call the police.....and the "person" who hit me, drove right past me!! I was in shock, but already on the phone with 911 and telling the dispatcher what happened! I am freaking out about this, cause my Jeep is damamged, and this person just left!!!! WTF!!! I mean W....T....Fing F!!!!! So, anyway, turns out that the person who hit me was a 17 year old kid, who just turned 17 on......you guessed it......9/9!!! The repsonding officer said in 34 years of traffic accidents, he had never had 2 people involved in an accident with the same birthday! Turns out the kid missed me turning to the lot, drove past me, panicked, and then pulled over, started crying and called 911, too, to report himself for "accidentally" leaving the scene of an accident. I actually felt bad for him, he was a nice kid, he acknowledged that he was at fault, and received a Careless Driving citation to boot. Then, later, his mom calls me, apologizes again, and tells me that she works at a Jeep dealership!! I couldn't believe the luck, so she is going to have the Jeep brought in to have the bumper replaced! I am very relieved, but still a little banged up from the whiplash....very minor, but still stiff and painful! I will be OK in a day or two, and from past experience, there is really nothing that they can do about it, unfortunately! So that was my CRAZY DAY!!!! Talk about a FULL MOON!!! WOOOOOOW!!!!

Baby Love

Well, sent baby home to his mama last night! he is just too much for Aunt Carol to handle. He just doesn't sleep! (No hes not a crack baby- just hungry like the wolf). I can't wait to be able to see you, Dusty, again. It's going on 3 years. Not a day goes by that I don't think of getting out of LaSalle. Wish I could take Carol with me. Her surgery starts the 28th if she is healthy enough. They said it could take a year til they are complete. I can't wait that long. I miss my kids and grandkids so much and your Dad. Miss his crazy ass! Well it feels so good to be off this weekend. I was so happy to sleep in. With the baby here, I was getting 4 hours of sleep a night. Not good for one's health, you know. Anyhoo, Will be more active here from now on. Love the look of your place. Cant wait to see it. All my love, Mom

Ghosts in the hizzy

Jo was upstairs just a second ago, and her daughters doorknob started turning and then the door opened by itself. Looks like we might have ghosts after all. I think they just wanted us to get settled in before they got active. Who knows! anywho, we slept over 13 hours and I'm slowly crawling out of my slumber. Its supposed to snow later tonight so we'll see what happens. I really need to get my paintings out of the shed thing today. Maybe thats what I'll do. Aunt Carol in the House!! been a long time! It was great hearing your voice :) I miss all of you guys so much. I too think about all of you every day :) This place is slowly coming together. Well, here I am again, back to the postings! I feel great! I finished up my first term back to school with straight As!!! Woo Hoo!!! I am so excited, and I am really proud of myself....getting As after being out of school for 11 years was a HUGE accomplishment for me! So, there, I am done bragging. My next term starts next week and it is going to be harder for me than the first term! I am not too worried about passing, just finding the time to get everything done, adding another class to the mix! It will be OK, just crazy busy! I am also excited cause I have big plans coming up. I am planning a "Girls' Night Out" with a few of my friends for saturday, so we are gonna tear up the town!! Halloween will be lots of fun again, too, because not only is it on a Friday night AND our anniversary (6 years, can you believe it!), but the weekend before our friends John and Rovena will be hosting a big party!!! I am excited, it was lots of fun last year. Then having a jewelry party in December. December is going to be great this year, cause it is the first time that I get to spend Christmas with my mom in 10 years! She is coming out for 2 weeks, and only I know when!! Hahaha!!! Anyway, I am really excited because I only have to work the Monday and Tuesday after she gets here, and then I get to play the rest of her time here!!! No work, no school (Term will be finished before then), just me, Paul, mom and the cats!! So, off to make dinner for the hubby, but will be sure to keep everyone updated!

Dusty, I think about that night and hope for another soon, maybe this time at my house?? Hint, hint!!! I know there are no disruptions there!! Try to make it in before New Years if you can so you can see my mom, I know that she would love to see you and to meet Jo!! Think about it, k??

Day 5 of 7 off:

Morning! Pretty sore waking up today. We did the move and it went off without a hitch... We still have the computer and TV here, but besides that pretty much everything is gone.. We're going to go try and set some stuff up today, then go major food shopping. After that, a trip for some beer then Im pretty much tapped out. Maybe some more smokes too. Anywho, we ended up getting the super big U-haul, its a 24 footer. It was pretty amazing but nothing ended up getting broken so we did pretty good. Got the Chiminea set up on this rock pedastal thing in the back yard at the new place. It's freakin awesome :) eventually I want like a big fountain thing there but for now the Fire pit can be there :). Anywho, i got banged up pretty good, got a couple of bruises and i am way tired today. Will write back more later.

I'm back!!!

Hey all, I am back on the blog scene!!! It has been a while, but my password didn't work, and I was waiting for Dusty to send me a new invite, which he did, today!!! So, here I am!! Anyway, I have been one busy gal, working full time, attending a tax class 2 nights a week for 3 hours a night, for 10 weeks. All that so that I can work at the tax place this coming tax season, have to keep that money coming in over the winter when Paul isn't working as much! AND....I am working on my MBA in Financial Management! This will open up a lot of doors for me, and I can't wait to finish! At the rate I am going, I will be done with my MBA before Christmas of 2009! That is a little over a year away, but I am going to do it!!! Still no baby yet, though we were close not too long ago, and after the miscarraige, we are trying again....if we were that close once, we can do it!!! LOL!!! Anyway, life is good, weather is great, and work is calling to me, or rather, I think that it is my boss yelling at me to get to work, or something!! More later, hopefully this weekend, and maybe I can post some pics for your viewing pleasure! Miss you all!

Day 1 of 7 Off

Day 1 of 7 off. Haven't had a good solid 7 off in a long time... This 7 off is going to be stressfull, but I the one after that should be good. This move is really weighing heavy on everyone. I wish we could just push a button and BAM, have everything moved. I'll email everyone my new address, and then we'll have a new phone number as well (just like I wanted) :) Other than that didn't do much today... Usually on my first day off all I do is shit, smoke, and play with my balls. lol, just kidding about the smoking ;) muhahahahaha :) no, but really all im doing now is waiting for the move.. It should only take a couple of hours I think, and it shouldnt be as bad as when I moved all of my stuff there. I'm going to go over there tomorrow and rip all of the carpet out, and spray down the cement so that it doesnt smell. THEN, on thursday, Im going to plant some trees in the front yard, and then relocate Jo's Irises. Some will go in the front yard, and some in the back. Its going to be amazing!

Aunt Carol

Howdy! I'm happy to be able to write a happy ending to the recent events. A week ago Aunt Carol was in the Intensive Care Unit and to look at her today you wouldn't even know it. I almost lost my best friend, and I'm so happy she decided to stick around awhile. There is still alot of fun to be had out there, and I'm gonna enjoy every day with her like it's our last. Goes to show ya that you never know what day the Grim Reaper will be a knocking, or whose door it will be. Sounds crazy hut enjoy each other, cuz you just never know. Cant sleep :( it sucks... going to try and crash soon... getting sleepy, getting kind of creepy...The one in the bed has gotten kind of lippy. Its late, wipe the slate but I try to keep it all clean, I mean what I mean, I slant and I crawl just to think of the past, I slowly wind down just to see it go fast. Tomorrow will hurt just like today did, i swoop down like an eagle just to see what you hid.

Tomorrow (9/13) we're having a bil ol sale. A mighty Yard sale you could say. So we'll see, hopefully we can make some cash... or some of the money we lost when we had to pay the 700$ to get the car fixed. So wish us luck :) OH... so last night we and some people decided to drink. It got pretty out of hand.. Drank almost a liter of Vodka and 15 beers. THEN, I had to wake up @ 6AM for a long ass day of OT. But I did it! and now its over. Tomorrow's going to be a long day. Then Sunday its Denver Bronco day @2pm so I am wicked excited! I worked Thursday/Friday and work monday (30 hours of OT) , then do the same thing on my next 7 off. So that should help us out a lot!

We did a lot of yard work over there today... Then we went back to do more, I was raking/cleaning out under the deck and I shit you not I saw a black scorpion. It had a white stinger on it. I thought to myself 'NO fucking way!!' , I looked closer and sure enough it was a fucking scorpion. unbelievable. I cut it in half. :)

We should be going over there in a bit. yesterday we got like 12 trees/sets of flowers/bushes so it should be pretty awesome :) I got a Dwarf Spruce tree, and I want to get a couple more and then we'll have them planted today... I want to eventually get a bunch of fruit trees and stuff like that in the backyard... Im way excited

Dusty, I'm really sorry for hurting you with the words I wrote. It was really bad before I left Denver. With the recent news of Jen and Jeff fighting now and my trip to warzone Denver, i was already regretting the trip with all the Jen induced drama. It just saddens my heart that we aren't closer as a family. Thus, the poem. Please understand. You told me to use the site to express myself. It is just heartbreaking to read it outloud.
