Hello from down under. Dusty, I saw your "Darkness Within My Lights" and it is phenomenal! Over 5,000 hits in such a short period of time. The celebrities are very interesting and gruesome. That Google Indian head was amazing also. Keep 'em coming! How are things in Utah? LaSalle? SSDD. Day 3 of Seven off. All out of paint until tonight. I have made a good run on the Castle picture. I think I finally solved how to finish the sky. Its going to be fucking awesome. Anywho, I ordered some more funny magnets today. I'll post pics of the painting tomorrow after I get my new colors. Going to go work out in the back yard today. Its a little chilly but the sun is out. Mine as well.

Almost Springtime!

Hey! How are things with everyone? Hope this finds you well and happy. It's still freaking winter out here. Illinois has 4 seasons, no deviations!( Sure hope thats spelled right.) I'm so jealous when I hear what the weather is in Colorado or Utah. I can't wait to leave this state forever. It should be called the "Dead Zone", Illinois. I'm glad I came out here tho. I made the best of it. I was reunited with my sisters and that was most important to me.. I wouldn't change that for the world. To spend time with Aunt Susie was priceless. I learned alot about myself; did alot of soulsearching. Found my "roots", so to speak. That song, "Always Use Sunscreen" comes to mind. About staying close to your siblings cuz they will stand by you when you get older. Along those lines anyway.... Ah well. I was sent out here for a reason, MAYBE a season, but NOT a lifetime. Well, thanks for letting me vent. All my love to those who deserve it! Mom

Chicago would seem to be on quite a roll these days. The city is a leading contender to host the Summer Olympics in 2016. The hometown Cubs had the most wins of any team in the National League last year and are one of the early favorites to win the 2009 World Series. And, of course, one of its own just became the most powerful person in the world (we're not talking about Oprah either, but she's close).
So with all of the good vibes coming out of Chicago, how does it show up as the third worst city on our second annual list of America's Most Miserable Cities?
Lousy weather, long commutes, rising unemployment and the highest sales tax rate in the country are to blame for the Windy City being near the top of our list. High rates of corruption by public officials didn't help either.

Hey, hey, hey! I wanna be 301! I just wanted to let you know I'm alive still. Just defrosted for the first time since October or something. I'm not kidding either. We hit a high of 50 degrees and it felt like 80! To feel the warmth of the sun was hope. Hope that spring will be here soon. I sure miss Colorado. Congratulations for a job well done with this post. Queen of Winter

The Queen of Winter says "Hang in there little buddy! We're almost there!" almost where? That is for you to decide said the caffeinated one in Utah. See kids, the World is like our Oyster, and your playground. But wheres the fucking monkey bars you might ask? On almost every street corner in america. Man, So we tore it up Friday night (i had some peeps over from work), then, yesrerday kind of a 'watch movies in bed' kind of day, which turned into a sleep all day kind of thing. I woke up at like 1:30 am , ate a bagel, got something to drink, and ate a sleeping pill and slept till like 10ish am today. I know... The life of a Rockstar in winter in Utah. Grrrr ;) I mean, Brrrr! Anyways, 2 hours till fooseball is on... Only three games left in the season OH NO!! So enjoy them if you can! Stay warm yo!

Winter Sucks

Hiya from the frozen tundra of Illinois. -35 with windchill tonight. We had more snow on top of the snow we already had. Its endless. I just stare at a wall and wait for the strawberries. lol! Hey did you hear about Yellowstone? Its getting pretty active. Volcano just waiting to happen. The top is a caldera and it measures 35ft by 46ft. aproximately. That blows and bye bye Wyoming! They said it's long overdue to blow. But aren't we all! I love you. Just wanted to share some happy news from the happiest state in the USA. (I need drugs) Love Mom (or Donna)

Day 2 of 7 off. Hump day for the regular 9 to 5'ers. I sealed the Bat Condo with caulk, just waiting for it to dry.. Then I will sand it and paint it up. Already put a coat of black on it. So, I am excited. I found this weird face I am going to paint on it. It can be my bat Box logo or whatever. Anyways, hope you are having a good day! Watch out for those Jokers!

U need to get healthy... I guess we all do though... Its been a rough life... That powder almost killed all of us... I think we're all pretty lucky to be alive honestly. Anywho, almost the Superbowl, yes... I think I am ready for it. I can't believe how fast the season goes... and you wait for it ALL year, then BAM, its over. Hi! I loved reading your blogs! As you caught up on your sleep I've been suffering from EXTREME FUCKING ILLINOIS COLD DAMP WEATHER or EFICDW as I call it. Heard it was in the 60s in Colorado-HEY COLORADO! Where are you? Anyhoo. Looking forward to the superbowl. Bruce Springstein is halftime. My client has been in the hospital all week so I have 6 whole hours of pay coming. It sure makes getting out of this town harder and harder. Aunt Susie escaped out of her house again the other night. Cops called PJ (poor guy) to come home. He is evaluating people to stay with her while he works. He's been put through the wringer taking care of her. Wish I could do more, but Wisconsin is so far away. Above is my map of Wisconsin. HaHa. Went to the Doctors today-my blood pressure meds aren't working. Doc is baffled. Need blood work done to check my kidneys. My blood pressure was 196/110 and thats on medication. He wrote me new scripts and told me to take them as soon as I got it. Lost 14 lbs without trying (which I thought was good, but he didn't). Gonna test for Diabetes, too. Stress is making me not want to eat, I force myself cuz I'm always ice cold if I don't eat. I need to come see you in the Spring. Doctors orders. Says I need a dose of Dusty for my cure all. (good one, huh?)Gotta wait til my classes I'm taking are done-about 2 months. Day 5 of 7 off... Its been glorious... New years, I slept about 15 hours, got up at about 430 pm, then went back to sleep at 7:30pm for another 15 or 16 hours. It was crazy. I sho do feel better though. Haven't slept this well since 'Nam. Anyways, today we're going to fix our kitchen sink and then go food shopping, and chill out. I had the whole back deck shoveled and cleaned off and then it snowed again. I was out there like 3 hours the other day shoveling that snow and ice off of there. I am just worried about it since there is no water sealant on it. Anywho, I love you and I hope you are staying warm. Too bad theres no football for the Bears or the Broncos. Makes pappi sad.

My Bat House

This is the 4-Chamber Bat condo I just bought (about $100 with tax/delivery) , I am Fucking excited. About 75-100 bats can live inside of it. I am going to paint it black with some kind of white logo on it, something cool, like a drippy Batman logo or something spooky. Anyways, I'll take more pics when it arrives. I love you
